Journalist, broadcaster and communication consultant Dr. Susan Maushart is the author of five books, including the feminist classics The Mask of Motherhood and Wifework and the internationally acclaimed memoir and BBC Book of the Week The Winter of Our Disconnect. Her books have been published in over a dozen languages. An independent producer, Susan’s popular radio series Multiple Choice and StoryCatcher have been heard across Australia on ABC Radio, and across the world on iTunes and the World Wide Web. She has appeared as a commentator on The Today Show, Lateline, CNN, Fox & Friends and in publications ranging from Family Circle and Parents to the Huffington Post and The Guardian. Susan’s lifestyle column in the Weekend Australian Magazine ran weekly for a legendary 12 years, and she has lectured in media at NYU, Fordham and Curtin University of Technology.
